The next week all the kids get together to talk about how they liked the play. Today Désiré brought Mackenson on his shoulders.

During the discussion, one of the older boys sighs, “The play was cool, but it’d be so much better if we could meet kids from other places for real.”

Usually Mackenson doesn’t say much in the group, but this time he has an idea:

“But we can go meet them! We can go in the cart!”
