Hundreds of children answered her
and sent a dollar or more.
Other children offered their friendship too.
Over a thousand letters arrived in the camp.
Some even came from other countries.
It was amazing!
It was also impossible to answer
each child personally.
So Joseph Wresinski wrote a letter and printed 1,000 copies. Each child who had written received this letter. This letter became the Tapori newsletter.
