Here’s what Joseph wrote:

"I’d like to send you news from time to time about the life, events, and projects here in the camp. I’ll give you ideas about actions you can take. You can do a lot to make the world a better place."

"But I’d want to know if you understand that what I’m asking you is very serious. You can’t help those who aren’t as lucky as you are one day and abandon them the next..."

"I’m sure your parents and teachers will help you."

Each month Joseph wrote to the children. He asked them to get together with one or two other children to read the letter, think about it together, and reply. Each letter had an activity page.

After a while this letter became the Tapori newsletter.
