Joseph Wresinski created Tapori in 1967. Here’s the story of his childhood:
Joseph was born in Angers in France, on February 12, 1917. His father is Polish and his mother Spanish.
His family is poor. They live in a run down, dark house.
The father has been turned down at all his job interviews because he’s Polish.
So he has to go work in Germany. Joseph’s mother stays and lives alone with the 4 children.
