| Day two : a hard work day ... |
On this 4th of December it’s time to get down to ’business’: looking into the other person’s eyes, we firstly greet each other in all the languages
spoken in the group. We then watch the second part of the Friendship Train’s story, told without words. Many of us play a part: passengers, actors, backdrop assistants... It was easy to understand!
Then Benoît explains to us what the mission of the United Nations is and
what role our delegation (children and adults) will play on December 8th.

We also look at the photo of the Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mrs Kang, who will meet us at the Wilson Palace.
In small groups we write the messages that we will read at the UN.
We have all brought messages and testimonies from our countries and homes. This work is important because our wish is that Mrs Kang passes on our stories, our questions and our hopes in all the meetings and all the
countries she goes to for work.
Later, in the afternoon, we also work but this time with our hands, in the
various workshops:
Tapori bag decoration,

making treasure chests...

building and decorating the full-size Friendship Train

We are making small figurines for the UN exhibition,

and later on we leave for Freiburg to... shh, I can’t tell you more for now, it’s a surprise, but someone is expecting us!
