Once each delegation had been presented and lunch eaten, the creative workshops started. We will continue on Friday. You will see more about it then.
Then we went for a walk in the mountain. There was snow in some places. It was quite steep but that did not prevent us from starting a snowball fight. Those coming from warm countries touched real snow for the first time.

marche dans la montagne

We met a farmer called Yvan, along with his son, his daughter-in-law, his grandson Augustin and little Camille. à la ferme

They live on on huge farm of which they took us on a grand tour, from the barn to the place where cows are milked, via the cowshed, the cows’ enclosure and the heifers’. A baby calf had just been born! They gave us fresh milk and cheese made by them over the summer. We were greeted very well and we learnt a lot about their farm.

In the evening each one of us was given the first pages for their personal diary. We also have a folder each where to keep the programme, the sheets of paper where we draw or write about our activities,

about what we liked, what we heard, what we saw, what amazed us, etc., all the things we want to remember. For instance Laurane wrote: ’there are many different languages and many different skin colours.’; Ninon: ’we all get along very well’; Chloe, from Ireland, wrote: ’we climbed up to a 900 meters mountain and went to a farm of cows. The cow gave birth.’

Before going to bed we played cards, a board game called Les Petits Chevaux (small horses), Twister, we watched a short movie made by the Tapori group from Renens (Switzerland) and we sang songs from our countries.
