Silhouette exhibit in Poland
Adults’ Messages

A lot of adults saw children’s silhouettes and read their messages during exhibits. They wanted to write their reactions for these children in guest books.

"Your silhouettes came to the United Nations and we saw them. You asked us to listen to you and you spoke to us about solitude and distress, but also about friendship, tenderness, hope, and the future. You spoke to us about yourselves and opened your hearts to us. We heard you. Your silhouettes won’t leave us. They’re in our hearts now."
Jean-Maurice RIPERT - Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations, Geneva.
"Thanks to the children of the world for giving us this exhibit and thus showing us their generosity in a thousand colors of life and the world that we’re working to create at the United Nations."
M. Bacre Waly NDIAYE - Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights.
"I recognize the importance of messages of friendship, solidarity, and tolerance in the fight against poverty and incomprehension."
Luis Alfonso DE ALBA - Former President of the Human Rights Council - United Nations, Geneva.
