Students from the Feinberg-Aloomim Junior High School created their silhouettes during a Friendship and Love Day in June 2007. They acted out a play and sang songs as well.

They wrote this message for the children of the world: The world can be a beautiful place for everyone, but still it isn’t - for many kids around the world, life is hard, there are kids who suffer from hunger, poverty, pain or wars going on in their countries. Some children suffer just because they are different...We must always remember that there are many children around us whose stories haven’t been told. We must try to help them. We need to be more caring and more understanding because everyone needs a friend. We can make the change because we are the world and we shouldn’t wait for one day when a miracle happens. If we want a change we should be the ones who bring it because it’s up to us. We can make the world a better place for all children."
